Maggie’s research interests include ancient Egyptian literature, scribal culture, reception studies, literary theory, and modern receptions of ancient Egypt.
Outside of the university, Maggie has worked in several museums: as the Terrace Research Associate at the Museum of Fine Arts in Boston, as an intern in the Anthropology Department at the Field Museum in Chicago, and as an intern in Registration at ISAC in Chicago. She has also volunteered for Harvard’s Giza Project.
In her spare time, Maggie is an avid musician. She currently plays violin in a local orchestra. In the past, she has played in ensembles such as the Delaware County Symphony Orchestra, Mariachi Véritas de Harvard, and several rock bands. She also enjoys reading novels and exploring the city with her dog, Ripley.
